I've used the finest precision dental instruments for 44+ years. This pen is of a similar quality. Beautiful design. Incredible machining. Fit and finish are wonderful down to the smallest detail. Balance and heft are just right. This pen just feels good in the hand. Kudos to Tuff-Writer!!

I like this pen. It is slightly larger and heavier than the custom wood pen I normally use but it isn't so huge as to look out of place in my shirt pocket. I usually change pens because I break the clip off; not seeing this happening with this pen. I have only used the pen for routine stuff, like signing a receipt, jotting down notes, etc. so am not sure if the added heft will be burdensome were I to write a letter. However, like most people I assume, my long letters are email messages typed on my computer so my guess is, for most people, the added heft won't be a big deal when writing. I have also not noticed the added heft being a problem when carrying the pen. Overall, I like having a nice pen with me, it doesn't look out-of-place, and it writes well.

As an Engineer, I was looking for just the right pen: Stylish, writes well, practical for defense. The Precision Press pen hit all the marks. It has substantial mass without being over weight, writes well, and hides in plain sight. Priced is right where it should be for a well made pen like this.

So far, excellent. the best thing is writes well which means I will use the pen as my go to in my brief case. That was what I wanted, that is what I have. Have not yet done extended writing, but so far, quite nice.

I received my Precision Press "raw" aluminum pen on 4/7/14. The outer mailing envelope arrived in good condition. The pen, packed in a sturdy, black plastic "cigar tube," (which I will re-purpose; thanks), was further enclosed in a plastic zip-lock pouch with an affixed "Made in U.S.A." sticker. Nice touch. Good marketing. The pen itself arrived in mint condition. It is reminiscent of a Surefire pen that I also own, but with one very important practical difference--the better-placed, more firmly attached, and much more confidence-inspiring EDC-knife-type pocket clip (great!), and one aesthetic / user-friendly difference--the rubberized "O-rings" at mid-barrell, and at the business end, where one's fingertips rest; gives a little extra "grip" and looks nice.

Nice job. Keep on making top-quality American pens!
